Hello, I'm AJ, I’m an artist based in Southern California. I was educated at Cal State Channel Islands, with a focus on illustration, character design, animation, and sequential art. I primarily work in Photoshop but have been branching out to other programs like Autodesk Sketchbook and Illustrator. I am also familiar with Adobe Animate and After Effects, and I make all of my own assets when creating videos.

I’ve always been very passionate about creating art. I bought my first sketchbook and colored pencils for “serious” art when I was twelve, encouraged by my friends and family. I got my first graphics tablet in 2010 when the only digital art program I was familiar with was PaintTool Sai. I learned Photoshop and Illustrator in 2012 and have primarily worked in Photoshop ever since. I now also do a lot of my sketching and thumbnailing in Autodesk Sketchbook on my Galaxy Tab S3.
